Dryers of the NF series incorporate a newly developed purpose-specific heat exchanger of high heat exchanging efficiency. The hot air used to dry resin is cooled by an intaken outside air which absorbs the heat thus ensuring release at low temperature. Because heat energy is circulated inside the dryer, the system greatly reduces power consumption and lessens the amount of heat exhausted into the workplace.
A system has been adopted to exchange heat by feeding hot air exhausted from the drying drum and outside air sucked in by the blower through a heat exchanger of high thermal conductance. Stock is dried using a continuous supply of hot circulating air.
The open conveying system draws in secondary air from suction nozzles to provide secondary conveyance to the molding machine. Together with a simple mechanical structure, the system is economical.
Because drying air is warmed first by the heat exchanger, heater power consumption is greatly reduced. Power consumption is greatly reduced in comparison to competitor dryers of the same loading capacity.
The hot air after drying is cooled by the heat exchanger before release into the factory, therefore the rise in room air temperature is kept down, hence reducing air conditioning demand. The energy-saving effect is high when several NF series machines are introduced throughout the factory.
The drying drum is structured with wide openings at the top and side so that stock loading and maintenance are speedy and easy.
The NS series can supply dried resin stock to 2 -- 4 molding machines using multiple feed branch lines and air branch valves.
Feed blower capacity can be increased if the standard dryer has trouble supplying molding machines because of longer conveying distances or heavy resin weights.

Two types of stock such as virgin material and crushed material can be simultaneously loaded into the same dryer using the ZB-13 branched suction valve.
And, the ZB-13 can be externally connected to a dedicated independent controller. This makes it easier to monitor suction status, etc.

Material depletion in the drying drum caused by trouble in dryer feed (primary loading) is signaled by a buzzer and warning lamp (ordered separately). See “Warning lamp” to choose a warning lamp.
A line filter can be installed on the molding machine hopper to thoroughly remove dust. Applicable models are GF-20-002 and GF25-002.
The GF25-002 incorporates powerful magnets for removing even iron dust.

An installation plate and attachment are separately needed to install the hopper on molding machines that do not meet the standard specifications shown in the table, therefore indicate those specifications when ordering.

The standard power cable is 4 m long, but other lengths are available.
